Description

The TechDraw ExtensionThreadBoltSide tool adds a cosmetic thread to the side view of a bolt/screw/rod.

Usage

1. Optionally specify the line attributes with the TechDraw ExtensionSelectLineAttributes tool.
2. Select two parallel lines.
3. There are several ways to invoke the tool:
   • Press the Add Cosmetic Thread Bolt Side View button.
   • Select the TechDraw → Extensions: Centerlines/Threading → Add Cosmetic Thread Bolt Side View option from the menu.
4. A cosmetic thread is added.
