Description

The Std Open command opens a file. If the file is not a native FreeCAD file (*.FCStd) its geometry will be imported into a new document. See Std Import for more information.

Usage

  1. There are several ways to invoke the command:
    • Press the Std Quit.svg Std Quit button. Button does not exist.
    • Select the File → Std Quit.svg Exit option from the menu.
    • Use the keyboard shortcut: Alt+F4.
  2. If there are unsaved documents a dialog box will prompt you to save them:
    • Press the Save button to save the current document.
    • Press the Discard button to discard the current document and lose all changes.
    • Press the Cancel button to cancel the command.
    • If there are multiple unsaved documents you can check the Case a cocher O.png Apply answer to all checkbox to avoid being prompted for each unsaved document separately.
