Description
This tool creates a pocketing operation, starting from a selected face of a Part-based object.
Usage
- Select a face on a Part-based object.
- Press the Pocket Shape button
- Adjust the desired properties
Options
- The Path Pocket object is made to be part of a Path Project. To correctly configure the profiling, a tool table must be present in the project's machine object, and a Tool Change command must be placed before the profile.
Properties
The properties are used corresponding to the following image
- DadosTool Number: The tool number in use
- DadosClearance Height: The height needed to clear clamps and obstructions
- DadosStep Down: Incremental Step Down of Tool
- DadosStart Depth: Starting Depth of Tool- first cut depth in Z
- DadosUse Start Depth: make True, if manually specifying a Start Start Depth
- DadosFinal Depth: Final Depth of Tool- lowest value in Z
- DadosRetract Height: The height desired to retract tool when path is finished
- DadosCut Mode: Climb or Conventional mode
- DadosMaterial Allowance: Amount of material to leave
- DadosFinish Depth: Maximum material removed on final pass.
- DadosStart At: Start pocketing at center or boundary
- DadosVert Feed: Feed rate for vertical moves in Z
- DadosHorizFeed: Feed rate for horizontal moves
- DadosActive: Make False, to prevent operation from generating code
- DadosComment: An optional comment for this profile
