Path_SetupSheet

Description

Job Templates provide a convenient mechanism to save commonly used Job definitions from within an existing Job. This facilitates the setup of future Jobs that are largely similar.

Available definition elements that can be exported includes:

  1. Postprocessor
  2. Extent and Placement of the Stock
  3. Operation Depths, Heights, and Tool Controller data contained in the SetupSheet
  4. Tool Controllers

The Edit->Preferences...->Path->Job Preferences tab, Defaults->Template is used to set the default template defining a Job at creation.

Usage

  1. Select a Job node in the Tree
  2. click the Export Template menu item

Options

Post Processing

  • the post processor selection
  • Post Processor arguments
  • Output file name

Stock

  • the Extent (optionally)
  • the Placement of the stock material (optionally)

Setup Sheet

  • Operation Heights
  • Operation Depths
  • Tool Rapid Speeds

Tool controllers

  • select individual tool controllers.
