Description
This command creates a solid from a shape object.
Usage
- Select the shape object.
- Choose Part → Convert to solid from the top menu.
- A solid from the shape object is created as a seperate new object.
Limitations
There will be no analyzing or validating of the shape object.
It is recommended to use Part → Refine Shape before converting to a solid.
Notes
- Primitives: Box, Cone, Cylinder, Sphere, Torus, Create primitives, Shape builder
- Modifying objects: Boolean, Union, Common, Cut, Join features, Connect, Embed, Cutout
