This tool inserts a set of orthographic projections of the selected object in the active drawing sheet.


How to use

  1. Select a feature in the model tree
  2. Press the Insert orthographic views button
  3. In the Combo View, select the projection type
  4. If desired, select an alternative View from: location
  5. If desired, select an axis that will be on the right side of the view
  6. Select any secondary views you would like to be projected from the main view
  7. If you wish to change the scale of the views, the location of the primary view, or the spacing of the secondary views, deselect Auto scale / position
    1. Enter the scale for the views
    2. Set the offset of the upper left view from the upper left corner of the drawing (in mm)
    3. Set the spacing between the origins of each view in the x and y directions.
  8. Select Show hidden lines to have hidden lines displayed
  9. Select Show smooth lines to show lines where curvature is discontinuous (e.g. at the edge of a fillet)
  10. Click OK to create the view
