Description

The Draft Snap Midpoint command toggles the Snap Midpoint option which snaps to the midpoint of straight and circular edges. The edges can belong to Draft objects but also to solids for example.

Usage

For general information about snapping and the related preferences see: Draft Snap.

  1. Make sure snapping is enabled. See: Draft Snap Lock.
  2. If Snap Midpoint is not switched on do one of the following:
  3. Choose a Draft or Arch command to create your geometry.
  4. Move the pointer over an edge.
  5. The edge is highlighted.
  6. If an midpoint is found the point is marked and the icon is displayed near the pointer.
  7. Click to confirm the point.
