Description

This method snaps to the intersection of two grid lines, if the grid is visible.

How to use

  1. Make sure File:Snap Lock.svg Draft ToggleSnap and File:Snap Grid.svg Snap Grid are turned on.
  2. Choose a Draft tool to draw a shape.
  3. Move the cursor near the intersection of two grid lines, on which you wish to attach your point.
  4. Click to attach your new point.

Notes

This method can be used with Draft and Sketcher Workbench elements like lines and arcs, as well as edges of shapes and solids.

This method also works for operations like Draft Move and Draft Rotate.
