Description

The Quick move command moved a pre-selected object to the cursor position.

It sticks to the cursor until the next mouse action:

  • LMB: Fixes the object at the current position.
  • RMB: Cancels the command and moves the object back to its original position.
  • MMB: The object jumps to a new position following the vector from the cursor position to the center of the 3D window.

Usage

  1. Activate the Quick move command using one of the following:
    • The Quick move button.
    • The Assembly3 → Quick move menu option.
    • The keyboard shortcut: A then Q.
