The [[Image:Assembly_QuickMove.svg|24px]] [[Assembly3_QuickMove|Quick move]] command brings a pre-selected object to the cursor position.

It sticks to the cursor until the next mouse action:
:- {{Button|LMB}}: Fixes the object at the current position.
:- {{Button|RMB}}: Cancels the command and moves the object back to its original position.
:- {{Button|MMB}}: The object jumps to a new position follwing the vector from the cursors position to the center of the 3D window.

Description

The Quick move command brings a pre-selected object to the cursor position.

It sticks to the cursor until the next mouse action:

- LMB: Fixes the object at the current position.
- RMB: Cancels the command and moves the object back to its original position.
- MMB: The object jumps to a new position follwing the vector from the cursors position to the center of the 3D window.

Usage

  1. Activate the Quick move command using one of the following:
    • The Quick move button.
    • The Assembly3 → Quick move menu option.
    • The keyboard shortcut: A then Q.
