Description

A launch lug is a small tube attached to the side of the rocket that allows the rocket to be guided using a rod until it is fast enough to be aerodynamically stable.

Usage

  1. There are several ways to invoke the command:
    • Press the Launch Lug button.
    • Select the Rocket → Launch Guides→ Launch Lug option from the menu.
    • Double click on a Launch Lug object in the Tree view.
  2. Set options and press OK.

Properties

Launch Lug

  • DANEInner Diameter: The diameter of the inside of the launch lug
  • DANELength: The length of the launch lug
  • DANEOuter Diameter: The diameter of the outside of the launch lug
