Description
Clips a field using a specified scalar value.
Usage
- Select a previously created result pipeline.
- Invoke the command in one of the several ways:
- Press the
Scalar clip filter button.
- Select the Results →
Scalar clip filter option from the menu.
- Press the
- Adjust the Result display options like for the result pipeline. Hide that pipeline to see the effect of a Scalar Clip Filter.
- Select the Scalar type from the expandable list.
- Specify the Clip scalar value directly or use the slider.
- By default, all the regions with field values below the specified one will be hidden. Select the Clip inside out option to invert the display and hide the regions with values above the specified one.
- Click OK button to finish the command.
- Materials: Solid, Fluid, Nonlinear mechanical; Material editor
- Element geometry: Beam (1D), Beam rotation (1D), Shell (2D), Fluid flow (1D)
