Description
This method snaps to the center point of circles and arcs as well as to the center of faces.
Snapping the second point of a line to the center of an arc
Usage
- Make sure
Draft ToggleSnap and
Snap Center are turned on.
- Select a Draft tool to draw a shape, or another suitable Draft tool.
- Move the cursor over a circle, an arc, or a face.
- A small white square will indicate the object's center point. The target object is highlighted in yellow. For circles and arcs, the circumference is highlighted, for faces the surface.
- Click to register the indicated point.
Options
- Press Esc to abort.
- Refer to Draft Snap about advanced snapping options.
Note
Only objects with DataMake Face set to true
are candidates for snapping to faces. A closed wire or shape without a filled face (DataMake Face set to false
) is not applicable.
