Description

The Add origin command adds an Origin object to a preselected assembly tree.

The Origin object will be placed in the Parts container and it contains 6 sub-objects representing the X, Y, and Z axes and the XY, YZ, and XZ planes.

Usage

  1. Activate the Add origin command using one of the following:
    • The Add origin button.
    • The Assembly3 → Workplane and origin → Add origin menu option.
